As a Certified Co-active Coach, I believe:
- You are creative, resourceful and whole.
- You create the agenda for our coaching.
- I’m coaching you, the whole person, since all parts of your life are connected.
- In being deeply committed to you creating the work and life you love!
I’ve been a personal and professional coach since 2007. I received my CPCC (Certified Professional Co-active Coach) from Coaches Training Institute, the international leader in coach training. I also bring more than fifteen years of experience as a business owner, creative director, team builder and leader.
My path to becoming a coach began when my husband and I were looking for an advisor to help us improve our communication—both emotional and practical—around money. We worked with a wonderful coach and gained insights and essential tools we continue to use today.
The process was so powerful that I trained as a financial coach, receiving my certification from The Money Coaching Institute. As I worked with clients it became clear that I wanted to coach them on even more parts of their lives including career, relationships and health. I decided to continue my studies and graduated from the Coaches Training Institute (CTI). For more about Co-Active Coaching and The Coaches Training Institute visit www.thecoaches.com.
My career includes fifteen years experience as a founding partner at Lamfers & Associates, a creative design firm working with entrepreneurs and Fortune 500 companies including Bechtel Corporation, Del Monte Foods, Jessie et Laurent Culinary Service, Kuhn Rikon USA, Pearson Publishing, San Francisco Bay Club, Sunset Magazine, University of California San Francisco and Wells Fargo Bank.
My continuing education includes the ‘Four Fold Way’ program with cultural anthropologist Angeles Arrien and ‘Fundraising from the Heart’ intensive with author and philanthropist Lynne Twist. I’ve also volunteered as a caregiver at Zen Hospice Project and as a mentor at San Francisco General Hospital’s Art Therapy Program. I also share my time with Marin’s Youth in Arts and Giant Steps Therapeutic Equestrian Center in Sonoma County.
